  <dc:title>Thirtle, James William</dc:title>
<dc:description>Letters to Gaster from James William Thirtle, editor of "The Christian" newspaper. He asks Gaster to nominate him for membership of the Royal Asiatic Society, and subsequently thanks him. In a later letter, Thirtle offers to review Gaster's Schweich Lectures on the Samaritans in his newspaper, and asks if the publisher might send him a copy. Another letter asks Gaster for details of his forthcoming work, so that Thirtle can make an announcement about it in "The Christian".</dc:description>
