<dc:description>Communications regarding two government initiatives: the In-Service Training Grant Scheme (TGS) for computing and microelectronics, offered to trainers for the first time in 1986, and the 5-year Educational Support Grant (ESG) Scheme for IT offered for the first time to LEAs in 1988/89 to fund advisory teachers and capital expenditure in IT.
