Some of the lantern slides were made at the photographic studio of Carlo Alceste Bonelli in Florence (Firenze), Via Faenza 81.

Slides of commissioners and employees of the Technical Section of the Geographical Service of the Frontier Commission on mountain paths and on snow-covered summits, outside their camp (in Timok valley?) as well as riding on horseback through a river
GIL/9/1/15-18 - scenes of village life, with villagers in traditional dress
GIL/9/1/19-25 - slides of Koritsa town (Korë) and surrounding area, including view of the Orthodox Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ (Giles no. 30) and Koritsa mosque
GIL/9/1/26-29 - slides of Lake Ohrida (Ohrid) including the views of the fortress, the Orthodox church overlooking Lake Ohrida, and Monastery Bogoroditsa Lake Ohrida
GIL/9/1/30-35 - slides of commissioners including General Gazzera (Italian Commissioner) and General Yovanovitch (Yugoslav delegate) as well as Colonel Giles and commissioners with the A1 1 boundary stone (entitled "First Albanian beacon - Boyana"), two commissioners (including Colonel Ordioni?) with the A1 2 boundary stone. Additionally, a member of the technical section with measuring instrument and parasol in front of the E III 79 boundary stone entitled "Last beacon Phtilia".</dc:description>
