Adrien Lami Adrien Lami, a 72 year old silkweaver, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born in Malaincourt, in Picardy but had to flee to avoid persecution. He is a member of the French Church of London. Adrien suffers from several conditions and has poor eyesight so can no longer work. At the end, a note signed by Louis Mercier, Pastor, recommends him.
