Pierre Durant Pierre Durant, a 55 year old silkweaver, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. His late grandfather, also called Pierre, was a Huguenot refugee from Normandy. Pierre suffers from rheumatism and poor eyesight so can no longer work. As a result, he is extremely poor and is currently homeless. The petition is signed by J Dede and George Deboos.
