Rachelle Davies, née Mandino Rachelle Davies, a 64 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father was George Mandino and her grandfather, Jean Mandino, was originally from Saint-Omer, but came to England to avoid religious persecution. Rachelle's husband passed away fourteen months prior to the petition being made and since his death she has been working as a seamstress but cannot earn enough to be financially independent.
