  <dc:title>Daniel Bantigny</dc:title>
<dc:description>Daniel Bantigny, a 66 year old widower, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born in Cambrai, in France. He suffers from extreme rheumatism in his arms, which are nearly paralysed; as a result, he has not been able to work as a silkweaver for the previous two years. Daniel has been a member of the French Church of London for 42 years and is now financially dependent on the Church. A note in a different hand by Charles Scholl, Pastor, confirms that the petitioner is indeed a member of the French Church of London and is highly respectable. The petition bears Daniel Bantigny's mark and is signed by T R Jolit, Charles Battier, J Barraudau, Samuel Albert Muller and Alexandre H Rivaz.</dc:description>
