  <dc:title>Jemima Mestivier or Metivier</dc:title>
<dc:description>Jemima Mestivier, a woman of over 70, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father, Jean Metivier, was originally from Marennes, in Saintonge. She is extremely ill and cannot look after herself. A note in a different hand, signed J T Muysson Minister, confirms that Jemima has been a member of the Savoy French Church for several years. The petition is signed by Isaac Ladvocat. Pinned to it is a certificate signed by J N Jacquin, a doctor, confirming her paralysis, dated 4 April 1770.</dc:description>
