  <dc:title>Pierre Boissenot</dc:title>
<dc:description>Pierre Boissenot, a 46 year old man, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born in London but his father, also called Pierre, was from the parish of Sainte-Anne, in Poitou. He used to be a weaver but is now paralysed so can no longer work and look after himself. His only family is a daughter who cannot care for him as she is already struggling to find enough work to subsist. Pierre is a member of the Eglise de Londres. Pinned to the petition is a certificate from Dr J N Jacquin, confirming Pierre's condition, dated 9 October 1770. The petition is signed by Jacob Bourdillon, Pastor. A note in a different hand, signed by de la Chaumette Junior and Jean Le Souef, recommends the petitioner.</dc:description>
