  <dc:description>Marie Mulot, a 69 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born in Calais and came to England as a refugee. She has been a widow for the past twenty years. She is too ill to work, can no longer look after herself and is about to be made homeless. Marie is also a member of the French Church of the Artillery. Pinned to the petition is a certificate from Dr J N Jacquin, confirming her poor health and the paralysis of her left leg, dated 10 January 1771. The petition is signed by Jacob Bourdillon, Pastor; Guillaume Jourdain and Abraham Favenc.</dc:description>
