Marie Marchette or Marchet Marie Marchette, a 71 year old woman, requests to be re-admitted to the Hospital. She suffers from several conditions, including gout and can no longer look after herself. Marie currently lives at Mr Gastineau's house, who has a large family. He had asked for her to move to the Hospital a year and a half ago in order to ease his wife's workload but she must have returned to live with him at some point as he is now requesting for Marie to go back.
