  <dc:title>Manuscript arithmetic book</dc:title>
<dc:description>Contains sums, weights and measures set out in calligraphy; and also rough workings (some tradesmen's bills dated 1761-4 are shown as examples). Pasted inside back cover, a printed multiplication table with the name of Philip Ardouin, School-Master, in Bell Court, Wheeler's Street, Spitalfields.
Some blank pages at the end have been used for entries of births, marriages and deaths of numerous persons named Busher and Jarman, of Bethnal Green and elsewhere in East London, 179-1864. A note of 'funeral attendance' on an earlier page shows relationships.</dc:description>
