<dc:title>Leases, perhaps belonging to Frederick Sadier, an inmate</dc:title>
<dc:description>These documents actually relate to John Evans, a house-carpenter or builder. They presumably came into the possession of Frederick Sadier (see H/J/7/6), who married Evans's daughter. Sadier, or Sadière, an unsuccessful jeweller or engraver of gems, afterwards a teacher of French, became impoverished. He was elected to the Hospital in August 1768, aged 72, and died a month later.</dc:description>
