<dc:title>Thorpe Le Soken: Register of the 'actes' of the Consistory of the French church at Thorpe le Soken in Essex, 1 January 1684-1688 August 1726. Prefaced by an account of the beginnings of the church in June-July 1683, signed Severin, Pasteur. At the other end, signed and attested notes of distributions of money sent for the poor of the congregation from 1699 to 1763 by French Committees appointed to distribute the Royal Bounty.</dc:title>
<dc:description>There are two paginations: 1-51 and 01-0101. Cover title: 'Registre du Consistoire de l'Eglise Francoise du rit Anglican...' On spine: 'Thorpe Fr. Cap. 1683'. Inside title: 'Registre des Actes du Consistoire...' Includes a list of contents.
Inserted at the beginning is a certificate of the attendances at eight army musters in 1650-1651 of Richard Warcupp, a private soldier; this is astray, having no relevance to the contents of the manuscript. Further on is another stray: a certificate of entry of members in the Catalogue of an Elder of a London church in 1792. On f 51v is a (cancelled) certification of deposit in the General Register Office, and a statement signed Jno. S. Burn, Sec. to the effect that this certification was written in error.</dc:description>
