  <dc:description>Payments charged against a sum of £5215.16.9 being the proceeds of the sale of 700 tickets on the malt lottery received in August 1697. Signed Braguier. Examined on the 7 January 1702 by Wm. Fawkener and John Denew. 
The tallies were received by the Committee from Edward Nicholas under an order of the Lords Directors dated 24 August 1697 and sold by 30 August. The amount overspent on the previous account (£79.19.11) is included in the disbursement total, and the overspending on the present account becomes £90.8.2.
