  <dc:description>Payments charged against £7500 paid to the French Committee in November 1699. Signed Braguier. Examined 26 January 1702 by Wm. Fawkener and John Denew. 
This £7500 was part of the £12000 grant deposited by order of the Lords Directors in the Bank of England in tallies upon the 25% augmentation duties on all French goods. It was paid to the French Committee by Mr. Miller of the Bank of England in two instalments under warrants of the Lords Directors.
