  <dc:description>The payments to Saintonge Society beneficiaries are on numbered pages 1 to 46, but the 80 unnumbered pages preceding are filled by an alphabetical list, c 1835-1840, apparently of debtors (in the Distributor's private business). The payments to beneficiaries - addresses and various particulars of whom are given  - include some from the Boislin and Coqueau charities connected with the French Hospital.</dc:description>
