- the hosting of Anglo-Brazilian seminars;
- collaboration over the development of courses for Brazilian students, including MA programmes.

This file contains the following documents:

- correspondence and memos, particularly with the British Council regarding their efforts to promote UK education internationally;
- reports of visits to Brazil, including a ring-bound report of a 1992 visit to Brazil by Denis Lawton, Robert Cowen, and David Warren of the Institute (34 pages);
- handwritten notes;
- formal agreements of co-operation between institutions in Brazil and in the UK, including the Institute of Education;
- programmes for official visits of delegates between the UK and Brazil.</dc:description>
