  <dc:description>Papers regarding the Institute of Education’s links with Hong Kong, mainly in the form of a Master of Arts (MA) in Education taught partly in Hong Kong and partly at the Institute in the UK. It was a two-year part-time programme aimed at teachers and educators in Hong Kong, which began in July 1994.

These papers consist of:

- correspondence with educators and educational administrators in Hong Kong;
- correspondence, memos, internal reports, draft budgets, and meeting notes regarding the course, including fees and course structure;
- reports from visits to Hong Kong, particularly the visit of November 1993;
- visit papers for visits of Hong Kong officials to the UK;
- arrangements with Hong Kong Baptist College for teaching;
- promotional papers and leaflets;
- correspondence with the British Council;
- a pamphlet for the new MA in Education (in folder number 2).</dc:description>
