  <dc:description>Correspondence and papers regarding students at the Institute of Education who received scholarships from the Beaverbrook Foundation. The material in this file also includes a full description of the scholarship and information on the end of the scheme in 1965. The scheme offered five scholarships to Canadian students at the Institute. Male students and unmarried female students holding teaching posts in the public schools of New Brunswick were eligible. Applicants had to have five years’ teaching experience and give a written undertaking to work in New Brunswick for two years after the scholarship.</dc:description>
