University of London Institute of Education Bulletin The first Bulletin was published in 1939 but no other issues appear to have been published until 1952. It was published 3 times a year and was published in two series. The 'old' series was published from 1953-1963 (Nos. 1-32 ref: IE/PUB/2-12) and was more an information bulletin with news on the work of the Institute and its staff and students with some articles on education theory and practice. A 'new' series was published from 1963 (Nos.33- ref: IE/PUB/13 onwards) which included articles on educational theory and experiments rather than information on members of the Institute. From the academic year 1967-1969 a bulletin supplement was published containing a list of staff publications published during the year. The series also contains a photocopy of a published list of staff publications in 1979-1980 which, although published after the Bulletin was finished, does appear to relate to the earlier supplements. 1939, 1952-1971, 1980
