 - He worked as a Senior House Master at the Waitaki Boys' High School, Oamaru,New Zealand.
 - His interest was in Social Science and educational methods.
 - He also took part in climbing Mount Everest in 1935 and gave a lecture in 1939 at University of London Institute of Education.</dc:description>
