The contents of the binder have been divided into 4 folders for ease of reference. The contents consist of handwritten notes (photocopies) for lecture course or courses: October-December 1989, November 1990, and October-November 1993.

There is no general heading for the 1989 lectures (LILLY/C/509-510). Titles of individual lectures include 'Enzyme Systems', 'Reactor Systems with Microorganisms', 'Costs of fermentation', and 'Continuous culture'.

The 1990 lectures (LILLY/C/511) are headed 'Process Development' and the 1993 lectures (LILLY/C/512) are headed 'Biochem. Eng. Fermentation'.</dc:description>
