  <dc:title>De Morgan Lectures, notes</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Student's notes on lectures on Algebraic Geometry and the Calculus, given by Augustus De Morgan at University College London from 11 March to 13 May 1847. The notes were made by John G Hepburn whose inscription appears on the front endpaper. A bookplate on the same page records that it was presented to UCL by G Hepburn esq.

A page of small cartoons is pasted to the front free endpaper telling the story of "Champion" who turned on a man following him home and was arrested but later acquitted. The lecture notes are dated and include many equations and diagrams.

In a volume with a pre-printed title page, sold by booksellers H K Lewis. Title page has a miniature of the UCL Portico and is pre-printed "Lectures on [blank] delivered in University College, London, by [blank] Session 1846 1847 [blank]".</dc:description>
