  <dc:description>Fragment of a leaf from a psalter, parchment. The leaf has been cut horizontally, this fragment is the bottom half. Surviving text includes Psalms 48 and 49. From a quarto size volume, probably for private devotional use.
Main body text in a rounded Gothic script in black with red initials. Line rulings clearly visible on recto and verso. The verso has an illuminated inital D in gold with faded blue-green decoration, 3 lines high. Beside it is a brief marginal gloss introducing a new chapter and very faint marginal annotation suggesting usage.</dc:description>
