Mocatta Manuscripts Manuscripts transferred from the Mocatta Library (subsequently the Jewish Studies Library) of University College London. Primarily Hebrew, their provenance varies although many came from the library of Frederic David Mocatta. A mixture of religious and non-religious material including service books, fragments of the Hebrew bible and the Qur'an, prayer books, letters, diaries, calendars and drawings. 14th century - 20th century
