<dc:title>Trevelyon Miscellany</dc:title>
<dc:description>Manuscript book of miscellaneous illustrated material compiled by Thomas Trevelyon, probably around 1603. The artwork and designs as well as the accompanying texts were copied by Trevelyon from various published sources. Includes portraits and dates of the kings & queens of England and Scotland to James I, a table of mayors, lists of principal fairs and roads, an illustrated calendar, biblical stories, proverbs, letter templates, embroidery patterns, etc.

With letters concerning the book dated 1917 and 1920.

Tentatively dated to 1603, as the death of Elizabeth I and accession of James I/VI are recorded under the list of monarchs, but spaces for the place of Elizabeth's burial and end date of her reign have been left blank. </dc:description>
