Russian Notebooks These are in two groups (originally tied up in hard-covered folders). The first group apparently dates from NH's university career (Nova Rossia University, Odessa, 1907-1912) and consists almost entirely of notes on a series of lectures on the history of philosophy. The second group is more mixed and less easy to date. c.1907-1919
