<dc:title>Letter to Orwell from Secker & Warburg (carbon copy)</dc:title>
<dc:description>Carbon copy of a typed letter to George Orwell from his publisher Martin Secker & Warburg Ltd. The letter is a response to Orwell's request to make a last-minute alteration to his upcoming publication 'Critical Essays', regarding a Koestler essay. This carbon copy is unsigned, but has the typed initials "RHPS/RCM", and appears to have been initialled by Roger Senhouse. The letter begins "My dear George, " but has been annotated in pen with "alias gloomy old Borwell". (1f)</dc:description>
