&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The first bundle covers the period 1885-1888, and comprises letters on Karl's paper on "The Woman's Question" at the first meeting of the Men and Women's Club; discussion of education and morality; inviting Karl to meetings of the Denison Society, of which Loetitia (known as "Letty") was Honorary Treasurer; club meeting on 12 March 1888, F H Müller's views on women in the club and response to Karl's proposal to end its existence.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The second bundle covers the year 1889, and comprises letters from Letty with Maria in Norway for the summer whilst Karl holidayed in Saig; on Maria's depression leading to her rejection of Karl's proposal; and arranging meeting to discuss the problem.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The third bundle covers the year 1890, and comprises letters on her responsibility as counsel in Maria and Karl's troubles; Maria's wish to see Karl; preparations for the wedding; letters to Karl on honeymoon, including reminiscences of the previous year in Norway (where Karl proposed to Maria).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The fourth bundle covers the period  April 1891 - July 1895, and comprises letters on a trip to Birmingham with Maria and Sigrid; letter in August 1892 from Opheim, Norway; and letters about family holidays.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The fifth bundle coverst the period March 1895 - August 1896, and comprises letters on the death of Letty's mother Lucy; report on a family gathering with news of Maria and the newborn Egon; visit to William and Fanny Pearson with Maria and the children; and letters to Karl in Norway in summer 1896.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The sixth bundle covers the period 1897-1899, and comprises letters on Letty's holiday in Norway; her "change in career", possibly about giving up work for the Charity Organisation Society; arrangements at 7 Well Road; and about a visit to Karl's parents.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The seventh bundle coverst the period 1900-1908, and comprises letters on Sigrid's growing self-consciousness; on New Year and Christmas 1904; sending a donation from an anonymous friend towards Karl's astronomy projects; about death of W F R Weldon; extracts of verse sent to Karl, possibly for Christmas 1906; and on death of William Pearson&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The eighth bundle covers the period 1911-1928, and comprises letters on birthday wishes to Karl, reading Olive Schreiner, and sadness at death of Sir Francis Galton; letter in 1920 on moves of family members; about Ralph Thicknesse; about family finances; and about Maria's death; associations with Maria at Old School House in Coldharbour.&lt;/p&gt;</dc:description>
