  <dc:description>1. Letter addressed to Sir from J P ?Kennell (Accountant), dated 25 October 1828. Directed by W James Lock to inform addressee as how to pay deposits for shares at £100 each. 
2. Facsimile of letter from John Robson, Secretary of UCL, to forward on an accompanying statement of a Bill in Parliament, 16 December 1868.
3. Facsimile of Statement of the objects and provisions of a proposed Bill to alter the constitution of University College London, 16 December 1868.
4. Letter from E? Buchanan to Mr Franck, [1890], asking whether he could exhibit some items at the Old Students Soiree.
5. Letter from W. Halliburton to Mr Franck, [1890], apologising for not making it to the soiree and enclosing a subscription toward the expenses.
6. Two UCL letters of conduct, Faculty of Science, certifying that Charles E. Franck had conducted himself satisfactorily during class attendance. One signed by G. Foster and William Ramsay. The other signed by R T [?] and I N Collie [1890].
7. Letter from E A Schafer to C.E. Franck, dated 9 June 1890, stating that he cannot afford the guinea subscription for the Biological Society Soiree. Offers half a guinea instead.
8. Letter from Victor Horsley to unknown, dated 13 June 1890, stating that a previous engagement would prevent him from attending the Biological Soiree on the 17th but enclosed a postal order of 10-6 to go towards the funds for entertainment.
9. Letter to C F Dick, date 13 June 1890, stating that the Committee of Management have considered their proposal however cannot recommend that any compulsory subscription be made to the Office of the College.
10. Letter addressed to C F Dick, dated 10 July 1890, enclosing an extract from minutes of the Committee of Management, in which they give approval to amended rules of the proposed Students' Association (no enclosure present). Hand drawn map on back of letter, in pencil, showing Boundary Road, Finchley Road and Queens Grove [London].
