  <dc:description>Documents and correspondence re the Yugoslav Society of Great Britain. It was the successor to the Serbian Society which had been formed in 1916 and fell into abeyance in 1920. The Yugoslav Society was formed in 1921 with RWSW as honorary secretary in order to dispel misconceptions about Yugoslavia, and a parallel organisation was set up in Belgrade to promote friendly relations between the two countries. Material mainly dates from the period 1921-1931.</dc:description>
