Dated 5 October 1937 and signed by Michael Jolliffe and Elena Romero, and enclosing a proposed consititution and a copy of a programme from the 1936 British Youth Peace Assembly; copy of Phineas, Vol. 3, No. 5, including a letter titled 'Peace is not pacifism', 15th February 1938; draft constitution for a UC Pacifist Society; letter dated February 1938, addressed to the Provost and signed by 56 individual students, requesting a separate Pacifist Society be established; letter enclosing an approved constitution of the Pacifist Society, dated 3 May 1938.</dc:description>
