University College Correspondence A collection of early correspondence received by the university's administrative office between 1825 and 1918. It is further divided into smaller series, partly based on the original filing system used by office clerks at the time. Series 1-6 are divided by correspondence relating to different subjects, with the last series in the collection being general correspondence, received between 1825-1905, and arranged alphabetically by surname of sender. Work to catalogue this collection is underway and new series will be added intermittently. Currently only the series of Professors Correspondence [UCLCA/CORR/1] is available to view on our catalogue, however if you are interested in any of the other uncatalogued series please contact us at spec.coll@ucl.ac.uk. 1825-1918
