Corporate 1903- The Chailey Heritage School abd Hospital were founded out of the Guild of the Poor Brave Things in 1903 by Dame Grace Kimmins for children with severe physical disabilities in Chailey, Sussex. The school and hospital were privately run until the hospital was transferred to the NHS in 1948. The charity still maintains the school.
