Person Kathleen Daisy Bewicke Littlewood

c1889-1975 Kathleen Daisy Bewicke Littlewood was educated at a private school and Winchester School before she went to Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. She trained as a teacher at Winchester and took the Cambridge Teachers' Diploma. She taught history at Francis Holland School, 1913-1917, and Croydon High School, 1917-1924. In 1924 she was appointed the head of the Girls' Public Day School Trust school, Bromley High School until 1940 when she transferred to Wimbledon High School. She retired in 1949 and wrote a history of the GPDST which was published in 1951.
