fl. 1929-1969 Helped the New Education Fellowship in an advisory capacity from 1929 and was officially appointed temporary assistant to Beatrice Ensor in 1931, later becoming the General Secretary of the Fellowship. After Ensor's move to South Africa he became the Joint Organising Director of the Fellowship. He resigned the post in 1936, but remained on the executive board of the Fellowship. In the early 1960s Rawson edited the transcript of the history of the Fellowship written by William Boyd which was published as 'The Story of New Education' in 1965.
