Corporate 1937- The group was initially set up as the first representative of the New Education Fellowship in Australia in 1925 by Mary Lammond and Clarice Mcnamara. It was officially recognised as a section of the Fellowship in 1937. It's first president was Charles Tasman Parkinson and Mary Lammond continued as its secretary. The Section published 'New Horizons in School and Home' from 1938, which later became the journal of the Australian Council of the Fellowship. It was still active in 2009.
