Corporate fl. 1930s- The Indian Section was formed in the early 1930, and the first conference of the All-Indian NEF was held in 1933. The first president was Prof. A R Wadia. It had groups in Assam (formed in 1946 but appeared to have been closed by 1948), Bengal, Calcutta, Delhi, Gujarati, Mysore (formed in 1933), and Punjab (formed in 1932 which later became the Pakistan Section). In the 1930s published two magazines 'Education Information' and 'The Vidyadatini'. It was still active in 2009.
