Corporate [1931]- In 1931 a group of the New Education Fellowship was formed in Pretoria, South Africa by Ernst Malherbe, followed a year later by a Western Province Branch by A C S Scrimgeour. In 1933 it had new branches in Natal (Durban); Pietermaritizburg; Orange Free State; and the Transvaal, and later had others in East London (Border branch); Cape Town (closed in 1954); and Johannesburg. The headquarters lost contact with the Section after World War Two but some of the branches were reestablished in the 1950s.The Section was still active in 2009.
