b. 1893 Dean of Tsing Hua University, 1923-1926. In 1930 he was part of a Chinese theatrical group which toured the USA. 1931 became a visiting professor at the University of Chicago. He briefly returned to China before becoming a visiting professor at the University of Hawaii, 1933-1934. In 1935 he toured Russia with a theatrical group/ He later became Professor of Education at Nanki University, China and the official delegate of the Chinese Government to the United Nations.
