AdminHistoryThe Norwegian Club (Den Norske Klub) was founded on 17 May 1887 is the oldest club of its kind in the UK and a focal point for the Norwegian community in London. During the Second World War, King Haakon VII and the members of the Norwegian government were frequently seen at the club. King Haakon VII, King Olav V and HM King Harald V have all been close to the club, maintaining the long tradition of association between the club and the Royal Family of Norway. It amalgamated with the Anglo-Norse Society in 1939.
