Description | The volume is entitled: 'Proceedings ... with respect to the application of Mrs M M Delaigle's Trust', and is mainly concerned with the approval and placing out of Delaigle apprentices, for which purpose a meeting of contributing members was held annually on Easter Tuesday. Usually only this one yearly meeting was held. From 1801, small monthly grants from the Poor Fund are recorded. Between the Minutes for 1815 and 1816 there is a list of members in 1815, with addresses (thirteen only). Includes Committee Minutes for 1818-1819 concerning the Chauvet legacy, received in 1819. In April 1817 it was decided that the Annual Meeting was inadequate for dealing with all the apprenticeship applications. Accordingly from that date and through the remaining Minute Books quarterly and later half-yearly meetings are recorded. |
