Loose inside the cover is a large black and white photo of canons, two small pencil drawings of a soldier chasing a pig, and a poem on a piece of green embossed paper. Inscribed on one of the endpapers "Miss Harriet [?] Cowell 1826" and underneath in a different hand "Diana Julins[?] from E K Julins[?] 1922". |
