DescriptionTypescript letter from the pacifist Roy Walker to George Orwell, part of an exchange of letters following GO's review of Lionel Fielden's '<i>Beggar my Neighbour</i>' in '<i>Partisan Review</i>', in which RW asserts GO had been unfair. This letter is also the source of a claim (in George Orwell's '<i>As I Please</i>' column, 11 August 1944) that the Duke of Bedford knew Hitler to be "good", (2ff).
