DescriptionCarbon copy of a typed letter to George Orwell from his publisher Martin Secker & Warburg Ltd. This carbon copy appears to be initialled "FW", for Fredric Warburg. He writes in response to Orwell's letter of 13 June (see ORWELL/G/2/18/1), and arranges to meet him. It has also been annotated in pencil with "Why not let Moore break off with V[ictor] G[ollancz] on your behalf". (1f)
