AdminHistory | In 1908 the licenced boarding house was 'Somersby' on Crick Road. In 1912 the registered boarding house was at 1 Church Walk run by Miss Crosse, who had later moved to 'St. Frideswide', on Bardwell Road by 1922. In 1920 the Trust first purchased 41 Banbury Road (known as St Bruno's), which was later followed by St Hillary's at 332 Banbury Road (which was out of use by 1927). In 1935 the school replaced all the boarding houses with a single large boarding house at 3 Bardwell Road. The last boarding house, based in 7-9 Marston Ferry Road, was closed in 1977. |
