| Description | Guard book containing pasted in 'forms', books or papers of which copies were stocked or the form of which in was periodically reproduced in print, typing or writing. Generally contains one sample of the forms used in the administration of the Trust.
The forms are arranged into the following categories, general correspondence and memoranda paper; subscribers of shares and loans, including printed memoranda regarding special resolutions, share certificates, transfer forms, circulars regarding shares, and samples of annual report, notices and forms of proxy; donations comprising a table of scholarships and other benefits; Council, including names of members, regulations, reports, list of local committees and governing bodies, annual attendances of Council and Education Committee, memoir of Miss Gurney; school staff, including salary scales, advertisements for posts, particulars given to candidates, copies of blank contracts, list of pupils taking extra subjects, and circulars sent to head mistresses; boarding houses including bylaws for boarding houses, undertaking by the principal of boarding house, sample of certificate of licence for boarding house, list of boarding houses; parents, pupils and fees, including general prospectuses, illustrated booklet of schools, typed table of fees at various schools, admission forms, list of school terns and medical certificate; premises, equipment and supplies, including register of premises and mortgages, school inventory book, fire drill regulations, specification of works, surveyor's sanitary certificate, and forms of tender; accountant including form of cash books and registers, accounts for shareholders, statement of balances for Council, report on finances (1913), wages book; educational, including statement by Miss Flear on Montessori Methods, council inspectors reports, Hallam and Gurney reports, samples of certificates, model lists of fittings and apparatus for physics and chemistry, memoranda regarding domestic science teaching in schools, art advisory board reports; special school forms for individual schools includes articles of government; unclassified comprising papers regarding the jubilee book, obsolete drawing pamphlets, and copies of various documents destroyed in 1927; envelopes.
