| Description | Mary Edwards, a 59 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 8 April 1789. Her parents were Sarah and John Charles Delbar. The latter was born near Cambrai, in France and died at the French Hospital. Mary used to be the keeper of a small day school but now can only find occasional work. She suffers from poor health and is indigent. The petition is signed by Mary Edwards herself and Charlotte Billington.
