Description	Small commonplace book with the hand-drawn bookplate of Alis M Eversfield (1842) on the front free endpaper. Catalogued by St Clair as "Eversfield". Contains poetry and epitaphs in a variety of hands, usually initialled and occasionally dated. Several entries are addressed "To Martha". Poems on love, beauty and grief are predominant. Henry Kirk White's poem "On Solitude" appears twice. Also some small engravings and cartouches pasted in.
